About.com's Guide to Gay Life, Ramone Johnson, was honored by Clik Magazine, as a member of its Elite 25. The awards program recognizes 25 individuals who, through their everyday talents, causes and campaigns, have paved the way for the enhancement of the black gay, lesbian and transgender communities.

Johnson was honored in the category of "media" and specifically for his work as the About.com Guide to Gay Life: http://gaylife.about.com. On his GuideSite, Johnson addresses issues such as gay marriage/gay rights, HIV/AIDS, the new gay family and coming out.

The Clik Magazine Elite 25 ceremony took place on November 25, 2006, at the Fox Theater in Atlanta. Mayor Ken Reeves; and AIDS activist Rudolph Carns.
